Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the Hockey OS platform, operated by MontOak Digital. SMS text messaging is an entirely optional feature and is governed separately. Agreeing to these Terms is not a condition of receiving SMS messages, and SMS opt-in is never required to use the platform or any MontOak Digital service.
SMS text messaging program
Program name: Hockey OS Team Notifications.
Description: When you opt in, you will receive recurring SMS text messages related to your team, including announcements, alerts, reminders, and other operational updates from coaches and staff.
How to opt in: You opt in by entering your phone number and checking the consent box on our sign-up page (/sms-optin), or by enabling text notifications inside the Hockey OS app. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of using the platform.
Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on team activity.
Cost: Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
How to opt out: You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will send one confirmation message and you will not receive further texts unless you opt in again.

Carriers: Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and other major US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Your use of the SMS program and the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy at https://montoakdigital.com/privacy. We do not share or sell mobile numbers or SMS opt-in consent data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Hockey OS and its messaging features only for legitimate team communication and in compliance with applicable laws. You may not use the platform to send unlawful, harassing, or unsolicited content.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The platform and messaging program are provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or from delayed or undelivered messages.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest revision.
